个人简介
Tianlin Wang (S’13) was born in Mount Tiantai, Zhejiang, China. He received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China, in 2009, and the M.S. degree in radio physics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2012. He was working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, from 2013 to 2014. He has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, since 2015.
He is currently a Graduate Student Research Assistant with the Radiation Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan. His research work contributes to Level 1 data calibration/validation and Level 2 wind speed retrieval for the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System NASA Earth Venture mission. His research interests include microwave remote sensing, GNSS reflectometry, and radio frequency circuits.
Mr. Wang is a Student Member of the American Geophysical Union and the Institute of Navigation. He is the founding chair of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society student branch chapter at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is the recipient of the 2018 IEEE Mikio Takagi Student Prize, awarded for the Best Student Paper at the IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, Valencia, Spain. He is a winner of 2018 IEEE Young Professionals Arctic Challenge Competition.
