Bio
Thomas J. Moore has spent the last 20 years researching and writing about the risks and benefits of prescription drugs and their regulation. He is a faculty associate at the Center for Drug Safety and Effectiveness, Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is also a Professorial Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. For more than 10 years he was senior scientist for the non-profit Institute for Safe Medication Practices and project director of QuarterWatch, a publication that monitored all adverse drug events reported to the Food and Drug Administration. He also undertakes consulting assignments doing business as Drug Safety Research.
