My research interests focus on climate, meteorology and remote sensing. I have a solid background and fruitful experience in application of remote sensing (satellite, radar) and GIS in the followings: Assessment of natural disasters relating to weather, climate, and environment; Assessing and mapping the changes of natural resources, environment, and disease due to climate change. I have been involved in various projects as a project member and principle investigator. I have also been the leader of multiple government-funded projects in meterological satellite applications, weather forecasting, natural hazards monitoring, disaster damange assessment using remote sensing data etc. I also own an experience in collaborating with international colleagues and specialists, which contribute to my
