Theodore K. Anthony

Steven J. Weiss (M‘94-SM'0 1) received the Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY, USA, in 1985 and the M.S. and D.Sc. degrees in electrophysics from The George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA. in 1989 and 1995. respectively. Since 1989, he has been the Team Leader of the Antenna Team at the Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, MD, USA. Since 2002, he has been with The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA, where he teaches courses on antenna systems, advanced antenna systems, and intermediated electromagnetics. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in the development of numerous specialized antennas for military applications. Dr. Weiss is a Fellow of the Washington Academy of Sciences and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society. He has served in all of the officer positions for the Washington Section of the IEEE. He is a member of International Union of Radio Science Commissions A and B and serves as the Vice Chair of Commission A. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Maryland and Delaware.
