Dr. Taylor is the Dean of Georgia Tech's School of Economics. Her research focuses on policy assessment and the valuation of natural resources and the environment. Recent applications include improving estimates of the benefits of policies aimed at reducing human mortality; examining household responses to water conservation policies; assessing the benefits of hazardous waste site cleanup for neighboring communities, and assessing the impact of offshore wind on coastal tourism. Her research has received funding from various sources, including the EPA, USDA, U.S. Department of the Interior, and the National Science Foundation. She is a member of the Society of Environmental and Resource Economists and has held several advisory board positions.
