Talita Aguiar

Graduated in Biomedicine in Nove de Julho University (2013). PhD in Cancerology by the Antonio Prudente Foundation (2019) and PhD Intership at Texas Children's Hospital (Baylor College of Medicine 2017 - 2018). My PhD project goal was to analyze rare somatic mutations in hepatoblastomas by whole-exome sequencing. I was also involved in the biological validation of selected candidate genes for tumorigenesis. This project allowed me to acquire high level skills and understanding of molecular biology, cancer genetics and bioinformatics.
