Tadaaki Kirita

Tadaaki Kirita graduated from Osaka Dental University, Osaka, Japan, in 1983, and the graduated from the School of Nara Medical University, Nara, Japan, in 1987. He spent his fellowship at the Nara Medical University Hospital and received the training of oral cancer treatments with the Saitama Cancer Center, Japan, from 1991 to 1992, and the Memorial Sloarn-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, USA, from 1998 to 1999. He has been the Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Nara Medical University, since 2002. He is currently the President of the Japanese Society of Oral Oncology, the Vice President of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Director of the Japan Society for Head and Neck Cancer and the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology. His major interests are in oral oncology and reconstructive surgery of oral and maxillofacial region.
