Tomasz Stoklosa

Professor Tomasz Stokłosa is the head of the Department of Tumor Biology and Genetics at the Medical University of Warsaw (MUW). He completed his postdoctoral research at Temple University, College of Science and Technology in Philadelphia, USA awarded with Oncology Research Faculty Development Program from NIH/NCI. He is a member of American Society of Hematology, European Hematology Association, Polish Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and Polish Society of Human Genetics. He is leading research projects in hematooncology and oncology with special interest in employing next-gen seq tools. His publication track includes more than 80 publications with almost 3000 citations (Hirsch index =29). He has served as panel expert and reviewer in several boards in Poland (NCN) and abroad (such as EU programs H2020-MSCA-IF-2020, Research Council of Lithuania, Estonian Research Council) in the last decade. Tomasz Stokłosa is also a laboratory diagnostician and specialist in the field of laboratory medical genetics and is currently the head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics and Cytogenetics affiliated at the Clinical Hospital of MUW.
