Takaaki Manaka

Zhong-can Ou-Yang was born in Fujian Province, China on 25 January 1946. He obtained the B. S., M. S. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University in 1968, 1981 and 1984, respectively. Now, he is a professor and the director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Academia Sinica, China, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a member of the Third World Academy of Sciences. His current interests focus on the elasticity of lipid vesicles, on the physical properties of monolayers, and on the single molecular biophysics
