Scientifically trained with many years experience in development of new Magnetic Resonance Imaging methods for heathcare and research. Excited by supporting the needs of doctors to make their work more effective and to improve the patient experience. Multiple practical examples of building new ways to collect images, new ways to process images and new things that can be done with these images that are now used in clinical practice. Experience of the whole development pipeline from concept, patent, papers, through to start-up, products and markets and the challenges of that for hardware, advanced software and clinical applications.

Always keen to learn and work with gifted people in multi-disciplined environments to drive significant steps forward. Frustrated by the pace of change and always keen to make a difference as quickly as possible. Joining up scientifically rigorous teams with practical application to important commercial problems within respectful environments provides me with ongoing challenges.

Excited by opportunities to extend the application of MRI to new areas for pharmaceutical development and testing, and also to embrace new clinical imaging areas where MRI, as a completely non-invasive approach, but also other imaging modalities have so much more to offer.
