He has published over 105 articles, has written 3 books and has two patents ('graphene oxide coated cover slips for fluorescence microscopy' and 'optical coherence tomography rheology'). His current H index is 32. He is PI for 5 Phd students, CI for 6 PhD students and 2 post-docs. He is treasurer of the Biological Physics group of the IOP.
Research Interests
A range of topics are covered in biological physics and soft matter. Currently his research is based on biological projects (endoplasmic reticulum, bacterial capsules, bacterial biofilms, antibodies and peptides), computational projects (single molecules, neural networks and machine learning) and photonics projects (super-resolution fluorescence microscopy, optical coherence tomography rheometry, microrheology and surface techniques).
