Stephen Hart

Stephen Hart received the B.Sc. degree in computer systems engineering, in 2002, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 2009, all from the Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. From 2009–2010, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Genova, Italy, investigating developmental learning strategies on the iCub robot. He recently joined General Motors as a Research Scientist to work with the NASA/GM Robonaut 2. His research interests focus on examining how robots can be intrinsically motivated to learn robust control strategies for manipulation.
