Stephen D. Anton

Stephen Anton received the Ph.D. degree in clinical and health psychology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, in 2003. His training specifically focused on health promotion and the delivery of lifestyle interventions designed to modify eating and exercise behaviors. He is currently an Associate Professor, Chief of the Clinical Research Division, with the Department of Aging and Geriatric Research, and has a joint appointment with the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, University of Florida. His specific research interests are in the role that lifestyle factors, specifically diet and exercise, and natural compounds have in affecting changes in function and risk for chronic disease conditions during aging.
