Dr. Schrag is the lead of the epidemiology team in the Respiratory Diseases Branch, Division of Bacterial Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since 2000, she has overseen domestic activities related to perinatal group B streptococcal disease prevention. She also leads domestic and international efforts to monitor and prevent the broader problem of neonatal sepsis.
