The goal of Dr. Leonard’s research is to advance equitable, positive health experiences and outcomes for pregnant individuals. She is interested in applying transdisciplinary methods to perinatal health research, with a focus on studying pregnancy-related morbidities in large data sources. Currently, her primary research interests are in building an infrastructure for distributed data network studies of perinatal health and improving treatment of chronic hypertension in pregnancy.
