Stein T. Holden is a professor in Development and Resource Economics at the School of Economics and Business (HH), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). He is also a core member of the Centre of Land Tenure Studies (CLTS) at NMBU. Main areas of research include Land Tenure and Land Markets, Behavioural and Experimental Economics, Natural Resource Management, Rural Transformation, Climate Risk and Food Security, Youth Employment. Much of the research is integrated with capacity-building in the South, especially in Ethiopia and Malawi (MSc- and PhD-training).
