I am interested in understanding ecological patterns across spatial scales with a certain predisposition towards landscape and macroecology. In my recent PostDoc project I am responsible for creating a time-series of global gridded land-use variables. In my past projects, I dealt mostly with the micro and macroecology of the European tick Ixodes ricinus and this comprises its hosts and a wide range of functional and structural environmental properties that shape both, ticks and hosts.
