Dr. Starkweather has taught courses across nursing and interprofessional curriculum throughout her career and has expertise in curriculum design, quality assessment, and review. She is an avid educator with focused teaching responsibilities on research development at the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels. With a successful track-record of administrative leadership, Dr. Starkweather has led department and program administration, the process of accreditation, academic-practice partnerships and system level changes to facilitate research collaborations, faculty practice models, and both clinical research and implementation science for improving patient care and health outcomes.
