I am working in the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences in the department of Medicinal Chemistry. My subject is a synthesis of biologically active peptide derivatives. Our goal is to synthesize different short peptides derivatives, which can be used as inhibitors of rhomboides-membrane enzymes in some parasites. I am pharmacist as education, but my PhD thesis is focused on synthesis of 4-hydroxycoumarins and their biological activity.
