Translational B cell and cancer immunologist specialising in antibody therapies for melanoma, ovarian and breast cancers. Immunotherapy and therapeutic antibody experience in academic, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology environments (USA, UK, Rutgers University, SmithKline Beecham/GlaxoSmithKline, Cambridge-based Adprotech Ltd.). Research focus on dissecting B cell and Th2 responses in cancer, antibody engineering, and effector mechanisms of action of antibodies of different isotypes including IgE. Designed and translated the first IgE class antibody for cancer to a first-in-man Phase I clinical trial (with Spicer). Founder of King’s spinout Epsilogen Ltd (formerly IGEM Therapeutics Ltd.).
