His research focuses primarily on the reasons behind sub-optimal upper extremity recovery after stroke and TBI and the use of interventions to optimize the same. His research interests include motor control and motor learning, outcome measurement and use of virtual reality and non-invasive brain stimulation. He has over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book-chapters and over 60 peer-reviewed abstracts resulting in podium and/or poster presentations. He serves as a member of the Editorial Boards of two journals and regularly reviews articles for journals in the field of neurorehabilitation and neurosciences.
