Silvia Cruz Martin del Campo

Silvia L. Cruz (Silvia L. Cruz Martin del Campo) currently works at the Departamento de Farmacobiologia Sede Sur, Cinvestav (Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute). Silvia does research in Pharmacology, Physiology and Neuroscience, mainly concerned to the action mechanisms and behavioral pharmacology of drugs of abuse. Her lab is currently working on the study of structure-activity relationships of misused solvents, advantages and risks of opioid combinations, cellular effects of different misused substances and the relationship between natural rewards and drugs. Silvia is also engaged in different projects related to drug use prevention.
