My scientific interest and the main focus of my current research is the plasticity and heterogeneity of the tumor microenvironment in liver cancers and metastasis, with a special focus on cancer-associated fibroblasts. Intrigued by the complex crosstalk of interactions occurring between parenchymal and non-parenchymal cells in the liver, with my research line I aim to investigate the role of this crosstalk inducing cancer-associate fibroblasts and tumor cells heterogeneity in desmoplastic tumors
