Expert in gas sensing technologies and gas analytical instrumentation. Material science and electrochemistry background with 40 years of new advanced materials and electrochemical systems industrial and academic expertise (sensors, solid oxide fuel cells, oxygen membranes).
Developed electronic, ionic and mixed conducting fluorite/perovskite oxide materials for electrochemical devices, calorimetric CO-sensor, electrochemical mixed potential CO-sensor, electrochemical CO2-sensor, high temperature O2-sensor with powder electrodes, miniature O2-sensor with sealed reference electrode, all solid state pH-sensor and high temperature humidity sensor. Developed in-situ CO and CH4 detection in combustion environment.
25 patents, 2 books, 6 books chapters, 42 special reports and >140 publications.
Excellent creativity and problem solving skills with a proven record of success in developing new materials, gas sensors or supporting sensor products. Multilingual skills and good experience in multicultural environment.
