She has conducted many successful industrial projects and received academic grants from the British Heart Foundation, the Nature Science Foundation of China, and the Royal Society. Her research interests include machine learning, biomedical image processing, pattern recognition, knowledge discovery, and deep learning.,Dr. Wang has been a member of the China Computer Federation since 2015. She was rewarded as a Highly Cited Researcher in 2019. She has served as a professional reviewer for many well-reputed journals and conferences, including the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Neuron Computing, Pattern Recognition, and Scientific Reports. She is currently serving as the Guest Editor-in-Chief for Multimedia Systems and Applications, an Associate Editor for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, IEEE Access, and the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology.
