I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of Exeter. I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nottingham. I examined the lived experiences of domestic violence in South Indian women, with a focus on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I am interested in trauma, women's mental health an dementia care. I also research and write about mental health law, policy, and disability rights to improve mental health literacy in India.
