His scientific interest focused on nonlinear optics, nanotechnology and thin-film fabrications for optoelectronic device applications which combines experimental and theoretical techniques. Fabrication of new systems and devices for future optoelectronic device applications. He is working on the determination of various electro-optical properties using computational techniques. He is currently working on Nano-synthesis of different kinds of materials for biomedical, optoelectronic and radiation detection applications.
