Career Trajectory
Bio
My interests are the health and well-being of women living with HIV; qualitative research approaches to pandemic preparedness; and mixed-methods, interdisciplinary and co-production approaches in health research. During my PhD I explored African migrant women's engagement in HIV care during and after pregnancy in the UK. In 2015 I came to UCL on an NIHR postdoctoral fellowship, during which I developed and led the PRIME study (Positive tRansItions through the MEnopause, www.ucl.ac.uk/prime-study), a mixed-methods observational study exploring the menopause in women living with HIV. PRIME is now one of the largest studies interntaionally on HIV and menopause.
