Shanghua Yang

Shang-Hua Yang (shanghua@ee.nthu.edu.tw) received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 2016. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and the deputy director of the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) Terahertz Optics and Photonics Center at NTHU, Hsinchu 300044, Taiwan. He has received several prestigious awards, including the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Doctoral Research Award (2014); MOST Young Scholar Fellowship (2018); and Human Frontier Science Program Research Grant Award (2020). His research interests include ultrafast electronics, microwave photonics, nanophotonics, computational imaging, artificial intelligence, terahertz optoelectronics, terahertz communication, and integrated terahertz systems. He is a Member of IEEE.
