Shane Murphy is a Digital Marketing lecturer and Subject coordinator at Torrens University and has also acted as an Academic Advisor for the undergraduate program. Shane specialises in teaching Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Digital Marketing, & Arts & Entertainment marketing. As a Digital Marketing lecturer and course writer, he has a strong research interest in digital and social media marketing and is an industry specialist for the digital music industries. Shane identifies with being a pracademic as a self-managed, signed songwriter with BMG and contemporary independent musician. He was manager of a successful IT recruitment consultancy during the 'dot com' boom, and has had roles in record labels, film promotion companies and event management.
