As a researcher, she collaborates on various interdisciplinary projects with colleagues from Peabody and the Departments of Neurology, Radiology, Engineering, and Film and Media Studies. She lectures and consults on health and wellness issues for performing musicians and has participated as panelist and presenter in forums including the American Occupational Therapy Association, National Guitar Workshop, International Society for Music Education, American College of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Performing Arts Medicine Association. She serves on the MedChi Performing Arts Medicine Committee, Research and Education Committees of the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA), Musicians’ Health and Wellness Committee of the International Society for Music Education (ISME), and the Executive Committee for the Society for Peabody Alumni.
