Lowe and his team want to understand precisely how genetic alterations contribute to tumor progression, alter treatment response, and create vulnerabilities that may be targeted therapeutically. The team combines in vitro and in vivo approaches in their work, including mouse models, RNA interference, and cancer genomics. Their goal is to gain a more comprehensive understanding of tumor suppressor networks, and to identify useful therapeutic targets for specific cancer genotypes.
