S Harris

Scott Harris (SH) is a Medical Statistician within the Faculty of Medicine and has been actively involved in both teaching and research since joining the Faculty in 2003. His main research areas of clinical trials, diagnostic testing and survival analysis have been developed through collaboration with clinical and scientific colleagues within his School, Faculty and the wider University. These collaborations have led to in excess of 85 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is co-applicant on a number of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded studies in the areas of cancer, diagnostic imaging and frailty. In all of these studies SH has led the statistical analysis and been responsible for developing the statistical analysis plan, producing any sample size calculations, coding the analyses and producing the study results output in the form of both tables and figures.
