My research program broadly addresses how societal attributes of urban landscapes drive ecological and evolutionary processes of urban wildlife at both the organismal and community level. This necessarily includes how structural racism and classism create emergent landscape heterogeneities in cities that have profound consequences for organismal fitness and ecosystem function.
