His academic qualifications and training are in neuroscience, bioimaging and molecular morphology. He published research articles in internationally renowned journals such as Endocrinology and PNAS. He has received several awards such as the Jimmie Dodd Memorial Prize for Comparative Endocrinology. In 2016, he was awarded the Young Investigator Award from the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology. Research interests His current research interest is to study the neuro-molecular mechanism of cognitive impairment and drug addiction.
