Satish Iyengar is a Research Engineer at the GE Global Research Corporation, Niskayuna, NY He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY in 2011. He was a research intern at the Blue Highway LLC (then a Welch Allyn company) in Syracuse, NY in 2010–2011, and a visiting researcher at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, MD, under the Scientific Outreach for Army Research (SOAR) program in 2009. Dr. Iyengar is a recipient of the Syracuse University All University Doctoral Prize, 2011. His current research interests are in statistical signal processing, distributed sensor networks and information fusion, and machine diagnostics and prognostics
