Bone and Soft Tissue (BST) sarcomas & low-grade mesenchymal neoplasms in children & young adults (CAYA) are of special interest to me, such as tumors with NTRK-fusions, BCOR-ITD, BRAF-mutations, altered PRC-pathways, Small Cell Carcinoma of the Ovary, Hypercalcemic Type (SCCOHT,) and targetable novel fusion sarcomas. A member of the Vascular Anomalies team (HVMC), I advocate for the ISSVA classification of vascular tumors and malformations, bridging from classic terminologies. I am a keen collaborator for studying inflammatory modifiers of non-neoplastic disorders, such NAFLD; and a proponent of digital pathology (DP) & of spatial transcriptomics. A board-certified Pediatric Pathologist, Director of Oncopathology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, (CCHMC, @CincyKids,) I am an advocate for early professional development.
