Jorge M Santos

Jorge A. Santos is a Professor at the School of Psychology, University of Minho, member of the research national and University of Minho centers Cipsi (Psychology) and Algoritmi (Engineering) and member of the of the Administration Board of the Center for Computer Graphics (CCG). He is also the director of the Laboratory of Visualization and Perception (LVP), a joint venture of the Centre for Computer Graphics and the University of Minho. LVP is a structure designed to support basic and applied research and the main laboratory space is a large CAVE (Computer Aided Virtual Environment) – a highly immersive (visual and auditory) environment, developed by a multidisciplinary team of professors and researchers of 6 different schools / institutes (Psychology, Physics, Information Systems, Industrial Elect., Mech. Engineering and Textile Eng.), researchers from the Center Computer Graphics, and of the University of Aveiro (IEETA), under the coordination of Prof. Jorge Santos.
