My research is mostly focused on community ecology, processes and mechanisms associated with community assembly. Plant functional traits are used to inform such processes and mechanisms along with distinct spatial and temporal scales. I'm currently working with patterns of grasslands (regional scales) and forest dynamic (permanent plots in Southernmost Brazilian Atlantic Forests) in terms of diversitly, composition, and ecosystem processes.
