Her fields of interest relate to natural products (NPs) chemistry and biological activities with focus on methodological aspects to discover bioactive NPs, in particular from tropical endemic Clusiaceous and Calophyllaceous species. She has been involved in the development of MixONat for 13C NMR-based dereplication (sourceforge.net/projects/mixonat/). She also developed an anti-AGE screening assay facilitating a rapid evaluation of NPs and extracts for cosmetic and therapeutic applications.
