Siddhartha Panda received the B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India, in 1992, the M.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati, OH, USA, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA, in 1999, all in chemical engineering. From 2000 to 2006, he was a Staff/Advisory Engineer with the IBM Semiconductor Research and Development Center, Hopewell Junction, NY, USA. Since 2006, he has been a Professor with the Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, India. He is also a participating Faculty Member of the Materials Science Programme and a Faculty Mentor with the National Centre for Flexible Electronics, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. His research interests include chemical sensors for healthcare applications and the accompanying transport, reactions, transductions and materials processing, and utilizing silicon and flexible printable platforms.
