He has published over 100 peer reviewed scientific articles and 18 book chapters and has co-edited a textbook in Transfusion Medicine. He has chaired the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) Committee on Transfusion Transmitted Disease, the AABB Interagency Task Force on Bacterial Contamination of Platelets and the Consensus Panel of the 2004 Canadian Consensus Conference on TRALI.
