Simone Gasparinetti

Simone Gasparinetti received the Ph.D. degree in low-temperature nanophysics from Aalto University, Espoo, Finland, in December 2014. After his Ph.D. degree, he was a Post-Doctoral Scientist at ETH Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Microtechnology and Nanoscience Department, Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden, and a member of the Management Group, Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT). He uses superconducting circuits to perform experimental research in the areas of quantum information processing, microwave quantum optics and communication, and quantum thermodynamics.
