Gallagher Sean

Sean Gallagher is the Director of Public Policy at the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). He manages and directs the public policy agenda, maintaining and building relationships with congressional staff, government officials, coalitions and partners. Sean is responsible for launching policy initiatives and managing policy communications including publications, white-papers, newsletters, and tool-kits for advocacy. Sean came to AIMBE with over four years experience as a legislative staffer in the House of Representatives. He served as a legislation assistant and senior policy advisor to four congressmen, including a previous Chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee, Subcommittee Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, and Subcommittee Chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee. Most recently, Sean served as the legislative point man on health care issues during the health care reform debate, gaining extensive experience in the field of health care and the new reform law's implementation.
