I am a Bangladeshi materials & device physicist, received my B.Sc.(Honours) in Physics and M.S.(Laser physics) from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I earned my PhD degree in Metal Oxide-based Solar Cells under a collaborative research project of the Electron microscopy group of the School of Physics and Electrochemistry group of the School of Chemistry, University of Bristol, UK. My PhD research works were entirely devoted to Synthesis, Characterization, and Device designing of nanostructured materials for low-cost and environment-friendly Photovoltaic applications. After returning from the UK, I have been actively engaged in R&D activities of BCSIR related to the development of solar energy materials for energy harvesting and other optoelectronic device applications. I have also been engaged in the design and modification of the components, process design and optimization of electrical and optoelectronic parameters, and new installation and commissioning of state-of-the-art instruments related to Renewable Energy application and Energy Efficiency.
