个人简介
Ryan McGranaghan received his Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Tennessee in 2011. He is currently a doctoral student in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He works in the Remote Sensing and Atmospheric Sciences Department studying magnetosphere-ionosphere-thermosphere interactions at Earth. Specifically, Ryan models Earth's dynamic thermospheric state in order to more accurately predict drag forces on objects orbiting below 700 km. He is also a researcher with the Colorado Center for Astrodynamics Research studying satellite navigation. He is working to develop and improve a new paradigm in autonomous navigation known as Linked Autonomous Interplanetary Satellite Orbit Navigation (LIAISON). Ryan is a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow.
