个人简介
Prof. Wang has contributed more than 150 patents including solar air conditioning devices, air source heat pump water heater, and comfortable heating/cooling equipment, air source heat pump steam generator, high efficient desiccant heat exchanger based heat pump, thermal storage devices, and thermal driven sorption refrigerators. Some patents have been commercialized and made great contributions for China industries. His research achievements have won National Invention award (2010) and National Natural Science Research Award (2014). Due to his most noteworthy contribution to Refrigeration and Thermal Science globally, he was honored to receive the J & E International Gold Medal from the Institute of Refrigeration (UK) in 2013, Asia Refrigeration Academic Award from China-Japan-Korea Refrigeration Societies in 2017, the Nukiyama Memorial Award from Japanese Society of Heat Transfer in 2018, IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Medal from the International Institute of Refrigeration in 2019, IEA Peter Ritter von Rittinger International Heat Pump Award (Heat Pump Centre ) in 2021, the Georg Alefeld Memorial Award from International Sorption Heat Pump Conference in 2021, the Global Energy Prize from the Global Energy Association in 2023.
