Rudibert King

Rudibert King was born in 1956. He received the M.Sc. degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in engineering cybernetics, and the Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees from the University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, in 1980, 1998, and 1993, respectively. He has held the position of Full Professor for simulation techniques with the University of Siegen, from 1993 to 1995. Since 1995, he has been the Head of the Chair of Measurement and Control with the Berlin Institute of Technology, Berlin, Germany. His current research interests include automatic modeling of reaction systems, nonlinear, robust, iterative and predictive control with an emphasis on applications in flow control, and biotechnology. Dr. King is a member of several editorial boards and has organized several international conferences on active flow control.
