Over the last years, he has published more than 80 scientific papers in the field of high-performance parallel and distributed computing and cloud computing, and contributed to more than 20 European and national research and development programmes in those areas. His current research interests include cloud computing and computer networks. He is also a free and open source software (FOSS) enthusiast, actively contributing to several open source initiatives.
