Bio
I spent my research career studying the biology of motor neurones and neuromuscular junctions. Most of my contributions have been in applying electrophysiology and morphology to the analysis of neuromuscular synaptic development, maintenance and repair in animal models (mice, rats, fruitflies). Most recently, I worked in on a) methods for minimally-invasive live imaging of NMJ's in vivo; b) toxicity at the NMJ; c) sexual differentiation of NMJ; d) physiology of degenerating and regenerating NMJ.
